INSPIRATIONAL: Justin Bieber Is Grateful He Is Not 'Where He Used To Be'

Justin bieber knows that his past does not define him, and he is working on building a better him.

The singer took to Instagram to reminisce about how far he has gotten since some of his toughest times. The singer shared a side by side of his mugshot from his arrest in 2014 and a smiling selfie he took recently and compared where he was then to where he is now.
In 2014, Justin was caught street racing in Miami and was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license. That arrest produced this mugshot which became widely known on social media mostly because of Justin's big smile.

Justin has come a long way since his run in with the law, and as he said in his photo he might have a long way to go to be the man he wants to be but at least he has changed since then. Instead of street racing, Justin now spends his time with friends and family including going to hockey games with his baby brother Jaxon Bieber.

He shared a photo that looked like they were having a fantastic time together from a Toronto Maple Leafs game this weekend writing: "Btw favourite picture me and my little bro crushing life!"

It is great that the "Sorry" singer is seeing a change in himself and see that he has made so much progress. There is no telling how far he will go and how much better of a person and man he will become in the upcoming years.

To answer his question, we believe in him!

Justin Bieber insists he’s a changed man after 2014 arrest

THREE years after his DUI arrest, Justin Bieber says he’s a changed man.

The Sorry singer posted a split image of his unusually cheery January 2014 mug shot and his current smiling face late Sunday, writing, “I LOVE THIS because it reminds me IM NOT EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE BUT THANK GOD IM NOT WHERE I USED TO BE! THE BEST IS YET TO COME DO YOU BELIEVE IT?”

Bieber, now 23, was arrested on Jan. 23, 2014 in Miami Beach after allegedly racing his rented Lamborghini under the influence and then resisting arrest and cursing at cops. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanour careless driving and resisting arrest without violence, agreeing to take anger management courses and donate $US50,000 to charity.

It was just one incident in what was a dark period for the singer.

In late December 2013, Bieber was arrested for the assault a limousine driver in Toronto, though the charge was later dropped. Then in early January 2014, police searched Bieber’s Los Angeles mansion as part of their investigation into his alleged egging of a neighbour’s home. Cops allegedly seized drugs from the house and arrested a member of his entourage.

That March, Bieber’s deposition video from the DUI case, showcasing his bratty behaviour, went public.

In July 2014, Bieber pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour vandalism charge for the egging, agreeing to pay more than $US80,000 in damages. He completed his probation for the case in November 2015.
